Let's just start off by saying, "it is really unfortunate that they wear ugly berets in the Army." But, since they do not call me for fashion advice, heh, I will deal with it. Really though, they are not attractive at all!
On an other note: Today we attended the Colors Casing Ceremony for Dale's Brigade. It was a nice traditional event and I got to snap some pictures of Dale getting his battle flag. Unfortunately, this is just one step closer to Dale leaving and a little closer to me losing my sanity. Not, that I am completely sane to start with, but you know.
The Colors Casing is when they retire the unit flags here on Post and the next time they are flown will be at their station in said jurisdiction halfway around the World.
