Cookies, Babies and Boys/Men... (Dale)

The past few months I have been drooling over, okay, blog stalking Bridget at Bake at 350. She makes the most divine cookies and yummy treats and I was just waiting for the perfect time to pounce on the buy button of her Etsy shop. I couldn't wait to sample one of my own mouth watering cookies. The perfect time came when Brandy's baby shower crept up on me. I was so excited to find out that Bridget lived "close" to me. When I say close, I am using Texas lingo meaning that she is only an hour away. That is close right? When it takes 24 hours to go from the Northern most point to the Southern most point of the state, then an hour isn't too far. She actually lives on the opposite side of Houston but goodness, I think I would drive 5 hours for her beautiful and delectable cookies. Oh, back to my story...

Brandy's shower for precious baby Jack: I ordered some baby blue, monogrammed, square cookies with a scalloped edge and polka dots. They were perfect and tasted better than any sugar cookie I have ever eaten. I would love to eat one warm, but then I would have to camp out in Bridget's kitchen and I don't know if she is comfortable with that :). We will see though?!?

Here they are:

After a home run with Brandy's baby shower I decided I had to order from Bridget again. This time it was not going to be easy. My request: An Army Soldier, red, white and blue stars, and American Flags. I couldn't imagine a better way to greet my man than some wonderful cookies in his likeness. Ha ha. Let me tell you, Bridget out did herself! Check these out!

They were yummy and I had to give some to the family to prevent myself from eating them all!

Thanks so much to Bridget at Bake at 350 for her fantastic

cookies and helping us welcome Dale home.
