Walmart Greeter in the future?

Lily started going to Awana on Wednesday and she L-o-V-E-S it. Awana is a fantastic Christian organization and they have a great mission. But let me tell you they hooked this girl with the vest.

When she saw all of the other kids wearing this vest you would have thought it was the fashion item of the century. And apparently for Lily it is! She wanted one A.S.A.P. But, you have to be a member (which we are working on) and you have to memorize Bible verses and other fun stuff to get the vest. So, she is waiting. And by the looks of it, she might just be lined up to become a greeter at good ole Wally World with that fashion sense.

Our conversation this morning:

Me: Do you want to stay home with mommy today and do something really fun?
Lily: Like go to Awana and get a vest with patches and jewels on it?
Me: No, like go to the park and to the library.
Lily: NO, I want to go to school.

So, I do not even compare to the coolness of the vest. Hmmmm. I am a M-O-M and my three year old has put me in my place.
