Date Night

We are so excited when we go to see our parents in San Antonio because we have great parents!!! and they let us have a DATE NIGHT. Barb and Frank did the honors this go around and apparently Chase gave them a run for their money. But, lets get back to date night.... This time Dale and I decided to do San Antonio tourist style. We went to the River Walk and strolled the banks of the river, looking at all of the restaurants, shops and the scenery downtown.

Of course we had to stop for drinks. Which always leads to us talking about Dale's career and what our future holds. (Not in a bad way.) This time we really are considering one of the following: Hawaii, Germany or Italy?!?!? Who knows....I still have a couple of years to decide.

Then we had a wonderful dinner at Paesanos. That wouldn't have been complete without a self portrait.

We drank some yummy wine and had a great waitor.

When we finished dinner, we were still having a wonderful conversation and enjoying each others company. So, we had coffee too.

But, there are always two little people hanging out in the back of our mind. I was drinking my coffee and looked over at this centerpiece. Does it remind you of something?

So, we took a picture. Then we headed back down the lovely river walk. We talked about years past and if this was 5 years ago we would have been at Howl at the Moon singing and dancing the night away. But we are almost 30 and felt old, so we headed home to check on the munchkins.
