Happy Halloween

We had a great Halloween and because Dale made it clear that it was a child's holiday I couldn't force Lily to be what I wanted her to be. So, she chose to be Tinkerbell, well, a fairy but we will let her think it was Tinkerbell for the next couple of years at least. She really wanted to be a princess but when you have waited till the last minute, really the day before Halloween, to find a costume, you really can't complain about the selection.

Dale carved the goofiest jack-o-lantern he could muster and Lily stood by trying to get stabbed with the knife! Dale's patience was warn a little thin by then end of this experience :).

Next, we got dressed in a our "Tinkerbell" costume and headed out! We had to layer for the weather but I still think the munchkin was a little chilly.
Lily running to the next house. It took her a while to get the hang of it but once she did she was on a roll.
Stopping in the middle of the street to check out her loot.

Alright Mom, we are freezing and not dressed for this Kentucky weather! What happened to our 90 degree Halloweens in Houston? Lets go HOME!
