Down on the Farm!

A few weeks ago we headed to Indiana to Joe Huber Farms. We had a great time, and our main goal was to go to the pumpkin patch and get a bunch of pumpkins. Well, we never made it to pick our pumpkins but we had a great time combing the grounds of the farm. And we even got to drive through some beautiful country in order to get there!

One of our first stops was a huge slide. Lily and Dale got to climb to the top of the hay loft and slide down a slide!

We made it through the corn maze pretty quickly. Most of the people we saw in the maze told us to turn around because there wasn't a way out. Apparently, they weren't with the Us, because we are Awesome!

We did a little fishing, but sometimes it just isn't fun if you don't catch anything...

But, a huge thing of cotton candy can make everything better!

After we had been there a bit we realized there was another "farm" just down the road. It just happened to be the Joe Huber Winery. Let's just say Dale (our red wine drinker) was a little bit more than excited. I on the other hand I was trying to prevent my child from climbing into the wine canisters in the cellar. But, Dale had a great time!

Then we drove home and found our ideal piece of land. Dale says the only things missing are the horses grazing in the field. Hmmm. It is beautiful though.
